There's no need to physically send your device to us! The VCO plan has been avaialble since 2019 and is NOT a trial or limited time offer.


By signing up for the VCO plan, you can obtain a VPS at no cost. In exchange, you permit us to use one of your unused devices—such as a phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop—for mirror file hosting.


The device must meet or exceed the minimum requirements listed below and must be connected to the internet, kept near your wireless access point (if using WiFi), and connected to power at all times.


The specifications of your VPS will depend on the specifications of the device(s) which you choose to enroll in the VCO plan for virtual colocation, network environment, device country, and VCO plan type.


Please note that your projects/VPS are NEVER hosted on your device, you will receive a free VPS (which is more powerful than your VCO device) on our servers in exchange for the resources you provide us.

Devices with open ports

What we do

These devices are used for mirror file hosting to provide a better and faster downloading experience to our users. All of the files we mirror are 100% legal, free, and publically available (often open source) projects.

These devices may also be used for the same purpose as devices without open ports, if sufficient resources are available.


What we don't do

We NEVER under any circumstances use your devices or network for ANY illegal, malicious, or otherwise harmful purposes such as illegal torrents, sharing pirated or copyrighted content without the owner's consent, or for any unlawful purpose! We will also NEVER intentionally collect, view, store, transmit, sell, or log ANY personal data or information on your device, in fact, we REQUIRE all VCO devices to be reset to remove your personal data from them if they are to be used with our VCO plan program.

We NEVER allow or provide public access to your device. Rest assured your device and network are safe.



Devices without open ports

What we do

These devices are used to view webpages for market research, detecting and mitigating online fraud, protecting brand reputation, analyzing pricing trends, conducting price evaluations, and enhancing online visibility through our trusted business partners, all aimed at creating a better internet. We utilize your device to analyze website performance indicators, perform pricing comparisons, and ensure content distribution across various regions worldwide. These practices carried out by our associates are entirely safe and legal.


What we don't do

(Type 1)
Requirements for connections WITH open ports


Type 1 VCO plan provides the most amount of VPS resources. It is intended for devices with processors manufactured from 2010 onward, with hardware and network connections that meet the requirements of type 1 VCO plan.



Prerequisites

  • Must be able to be factory reset (iOS/Android) or have a new OS installed (for old PCs running bloated, unusable, or otherwise unsuitable OSs)
  • Must NOT contain any of your own personal files or applications!
  • Must be a physical device on your own network. Please note we DO NOT accept datacenter/hosting connections, virtual machines, trials from other providers, or temporary servers.

    • RAM

  • ARM devices must have at least 1GB of system memory
  • x86 devices must have at least 4GB of system memory

    • OS

  • Must run Android 5.0+, Windows 8+, Linux, FireOS 5+, or ChromeOS v88+

    • There is beta support for iOS+iPadOS 11+ (jailbreak not required), Nintendo Wii and WiiU. Wii/WiiU requires an SD card of 16-32gb

    Users enrolling iOS/iPadOS devices may receive lower specs on their VPS due to the limitations of such devices which do not allow or support all needed requirements in full, however are still eligible to receive a free VPS.

  • Devices running Blackberry OS, Symbian OS, Windows Mobile or others are NOT supported.

    • Storage

  • Must have a minimum of 16GB onboard storage (SD cards, external hard drives, cloud storage, etc do not count)

    • CPU

  • Must have an ARM, ARM64, or x86 based processor with a minimum of 2 cores @ 1 GHz

    • Some exceptions apply depending on device. Contact us if unsure.



    Network Requirements


    Speed

  • Must have a minimum of 5 Mbps upload and download speed with less than 500ms ping to the US. (almost any connection that isn't dialup or satellite)

    • Data Transfer

  • Must have 1000gb+ data cap per month (so you don't accidentally get overage charges for this, even though most devices will not use 1000gb)

    • Router

  • Must have a router and ISP which allows for open ports 22, 80, 443, and 8000-8005 (Mobile internet does not allow this, such as a hotspot or 4G connections, some ISPs also do not allow this)

    • We support connections without open ports on VCO Type 2/3 plans (see right panes). However, users who cannot open ports may receive lower specifications on their VPS. Regardless, you will still be eligible to receive a free VPS.

    (Type 2)
    Requirements for connections WITHOUT open ports


    Type 2 VCO plan provides less VPS resources than type 1 VCO plan, but more than type 3. It is intended for devices with processors manufactured from 2010 onward, with hardware or network connections that DO NOT meet the requirements of type 1 VCO plan, such as connections behind carrier-grade NAT or devices with less than 4GB memory.



    Prerequisites

  • Must be able to be factory reset (iOS/Android) or have a new OS installed (for old PCs running bloated, unusable, or otherwise unsuitable OSs)
  • Must NOT contain any of your own personal files or applications!
  • Must be a physical device on your own network.

    • RAM

  • ARM devices must have at least 1GB of system memory
  • x86 devices must have at least 4GB of system memory
